Sales Associate - Part Time

Specializing in women's intimate apparel, we are dedicated to providing unparalleled customer service. Our boutique store is looking for a part-time Sales Associate to join our team.

As a Sales Associate, your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service through genuine conversations and helping customers find the perfect product for their needs and aspirations. You will be responsible to ensure guests feel relaxed and comfortable during their shopping experience. Your expertise, with attentive listening and effective communication, should foster rapport with customers.

Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent.

Reporting To: Store Manager

Job Location: 461 Eglinton Ave West, Toronto, ON.

3. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcoming new customers as they enter the store and consistently deliver superior service to all customers.
  • Actively engage customers in conversation to understand their necessities and aspirations.
  • Builds lasting and loyal relationship with customers.
  • Actively assist in the demonstration, description, understanding and selection of merchandise based on customer necessities and aspirations.
  • Develops strong product knowledge skills and remains aware of current collections.
  • Starting a fitting room with products selected and provides professional fitting advice for all products, with particular attention to bra fitting.
  • Operate a computerized customer and inventory management system, and also processing transactions in the point-of-sale (POS) payment register.
  • Maintaining the security of the store premises, merchandise, cash, and other store valuables.   
  • Actively maintain the store orderly appearance keeping merchandise neatly organized per company standard, complete a daily restocking, and other related merchandising tasks. 
  • Arrange merchandise to maintain the highest level of visual presentation and
    attractively displayed in store per merchandise instructions.
  • Answer all incoming calls (phone, etc.) with a professional greeting and deliver extraordinary service to customers.
  • Actively execute the daily tasks and day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by Store Manager without negatively impacting service or company standards.
  • Achieving established goals.
  • Maintaining clean and tidy workplace.
  • Execute additional tasks within the responsibilities of the sales associate role as directed by store management.
  • Attend all training, educational sessions and seminars offered by the company.
  • Comply with company's Employee Handbook and other policies, guides, procedures and requirements. 
  • Reports to Store Manager.

4. Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of retail sales experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend’s availability.
  • Highly collaborative; working with and through others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Superior product knowledge ability and strong understanding of current and emerging trends in fashion.
  • Problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement, who is always learning, open to feedback and takes action as required.
  • People skills.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and high energy level.
  • Detail-oriented, exceptionally well-organized.

  • Ability to lift and carry around 10kg.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, climb a ladder and use a step stool, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motion, push, and pull for a short distance.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is an asset.

Accounting Assistant - Part Time

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform accounting tasks that will support our financial team.

Accounting Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. If you have an Accounting degree or studying Accounting and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
